McAfee Knob

Yesterday I went hiking in Catawba, VA with my brother to McAfee Knob. I had done Dragon's Tooth a couple of times (which is very near by) before but I don't think I recall doing McAfee Knob before. It was a little disappointing when we got up there because the spectacular 270 degree views you are normally supposed to be able to see was all covered by fog. On the way back down it rained heavily, thundered, and lightninged. My brother seemed to still have a good time. I promised we would try it again the next time he came, and this time, bring lunch!
